Eternal Impact of God's Love

 Eternal Impact of God's Love

John 3:16

  • John 3:16 is probably the best loved verse of Scripture, and Psalm 23 is possibly the best known Psalm.
  • I see it as a "Power Passage."
  • I am so glad that our creator is a God of love, so much so that He even loves me.
  • Perhaps you feel the same way.
  • We all need and want love, and we are all loved by God.
  • We need that love to get a real hold on our hearts, minds and bodies.
FOCUS: Our hearts need the eternal impact of God's love.

John 3:16 (KJV)  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Observe four points that show the eternal impact of God's love from John 3:16.

I.    First Reason: The greatest love possible is proclaimed loud and clear, For God so love the world.
II.    Second Reason: The greatest gift of all time flows out of that love, that he gave his only begotten Son.
III.    Third Reason: The greatest reversal to our eternal destiny is offered to all, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish.
IV.    Fourth Reason: The greatest benefit ever granted to mankind, but have everlasting life.

God's love provided eternal salvation.

REFOCUS:  Our hearts need the impact of God's love.
